Strathberry has always spoken in a measured voice. Defined by sculptural silhouettes, discreet branding, and signature hardware, the Edinburgh-based global brand operates on a principle of quiet confidence — luxury that doesn’t need to declare itself. It’s the kind of elegance that travels by word of mouth. If you know, you know.

Behind that understatement lies a deeply human story. Founded in 2013 by husband-and-wife duo Guy and Leeanne Hundleby, Strathberry is rooted in craft, family, and an unusually intentional approach to growth that is shaped less by scale than by sensibility.

Rather than a boardroom or atelier, the idea took shape along the sun-washed shores of southern Spain, where the couple were living with their young children. “We spent many evenings visiting markets along the beachfronts, where we saw artisans showcasing beautifully handcrafted leather wallets, purses and belts,” they recalled. “We were struck by the skill and the pride that went into each piece. We simply fell in love with the craft.”
